Jessica grew up in North Ogden, UT where she competed in dance from the age of 6 until 16, it was then
when she found her love for snowboarding. She happily hung up her dance shoes for boots and a board
hitting the slopes every chance she got. Jessica currently lives in Penrose, UT with her husband Todd and
two boys, Ryder, and Ridger. Since marrying her husband 10 years ago Jessica has adopted new hobbies
that typically involve motors, such as four wheeling, riding dirt bikes, snowmobiling, and one of her
favorite hobbies they like to do as a family is to go “diggin” up in the mountains in their old Chevy
Blazer, or taking it rock crawling down in Moab. She loves animals, especially her clumsy dog, Tailgate.
Jessica is currently attending Idaho State University, enrolled in the occupational therapy assistant
program and will be graduating in April. Jessica has struggled with her weight her entire life. Walking
through those doors at Bear River Strength a little over 2 years ago she would describe that point in time
as “rock bottom” in terms of her health. Since then, the way she thinks healthy should look and feel like
has changed for the better. Bear River Strength and Conditioning has given her so much and she is
excited for the opportunity to help members who might need some support and encouragement like
she did, and still does!
